Platform builds and fixed-scope work
Client work is not refunded after the fact, because it is not paid for in advance of being built. Platform builds are paid per phase, each priced before it starts, and you can stop at the end of any phase and keep what was built. A defect costs you nothing: if we built it wrong, we fix it. The project agreement for your build sets out the rest.
Source code bought before the shop closed
Source-code purchases are final. Once the download was made available, the order is not refundable.
Every product was source code, available to download, read, copy and keep the moment payment went through. Files cannot be returned, so a refund after download would mean giving the whole product away.
What we still put right
- Your download never arrived, has stopped working or is incomplete. We restore access. There is no time limit — your licence is perpetual.
- You were charged twice, or charged for an order that was never fulfilled. Refunded in full. Send us the payment reference.
- The product is faulty or materially not as described. Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected by this policy and cannot be. We will repair, replace or refund as the law requires.
"It has a bug" is a fault we deal with. "I bought the wrong one", "I no longer need it" or "I changed my mind" are not faults, and are not refundable.
Chargebacks
Talk to us before your bank — most problems are a download we can restore the same day. Where a chargeback is raised on an order that was correctly fulfilled, we will contest it with the order record and delivery confirmation.
