Who this policy is for and who we are
This privacy policy applies to the Durood Circle mobile application for Android (the “App”), distributed through the Google Play Store. The App was previously published under the name Gosha e Durood; this policy covers it under either name.
The App is developed and published by Taimoor Sikander, the developer named on the App's Google Play store listing, trading through TAIMOOR SIKANDER LTD, an organisation registered in the United Kingdom with its registered address at 61 Bridge Street, Kington, HR5 3DJ, United Kingdom. TAIMOOR SIKANDER LTD also operates under the brand name Coding with T and the website codingwitht.com, on which this policy is published.
TAIMOOR SIKANDER LTD is the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.

What the App collects
Account information
If you create an account in the App, we collect and store the name and email address you register with. This is used to create your account, sign you in, keep your progress associated with you across devices, and contact you about your account if we need to.
Your activity in the App
We store the activity that makes the App work for you:
- Your saved preferences and App settings.
- Your personal activity history, reading progress and streaks.
- The number of durood you have read, which is added to the App's collective total.
Device and technical information
Where you grant permission, the App may process limited technical information about your device, and we may send you push notifications about your account or App features. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings without losing access to the App. This information is used to keep the App secure and working, and to diagnose faults.
What we do not collect
- We do not collect payment or card details. The App does not take payments.
- We do not collect sensitive personal information such as precise location, contacts, photos, health data, or the content of your messages.
- We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with data brokers or advertisers.
Why we process it, and our legal basis
We process your information to create and manage your account, to save and restore your progress, to provide the features you use, to keep the App secure and free from abuse, and to respond to you when you contact us.
Under UK GDPR our legal basis is performance of a contract with you for operating your account and delivering the App's features, our legitimate interests in keeping the App secure and functioning, and your consent where you have granted a device permission or opted in to notifications — which you can withdraw at any time in your device settings.
Who else processes your information
We keep this list as short as the App allows. Each provider processes data on our behalf, and none receives it for their own marketing:
| Provider | What they do | What they receive |
|---|---|---|
| Google Play | Distributes the App and delivers updates | Install and device data collected by Google under its own policy |
| Google Firebase | Account sign-in, storing account and activity data, and diagnosing crashes | Your name, email address and App activity |
These services are operated by Google and may process data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where that happens, transfers are covered by the safeguards Google provides for international transfers, such as Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK Addendum.
How long we keep it
We keep your account information and activity for as long as your account is open. If you ask us to delete your account, we erase it within 30 days.
One exception, stated plainly: the total number of durood you have read is retained permanently as an anonymous number that counts toward the App's collective total. Once your account is deleted that number is no longer linked to your name, email address or account, and cannot be traced back to you. Nothing else is kept.
Deleting your account and your data
You can ask us to permanently delete your account and personal data at any time, without installing anything. Full instructions are on our account and data deletion page .
In short: email support@codingwitht.com from the address registered to your account, with the subject “Delete My Account”. We confirm receipt within 3 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days. You can also ask us to remove specific data — your activity history, for example — while keeping your account open.
When your request is processed we permanently erase:
- Your account and profile information, including name and email address
- Your saved preferences and App settings
- Your activity history, progress and streaks
- Any other personal data linked to your account
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access a copy of your data, to have inaccurate data corrected, to have your data erased, to restrict or object to processing, to receive your data in a portable form, and to withdraw consent at any time. Email support@codingwitht.com to exercise any of these and we will respond within one month, free of charge.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We would appreciate the chance to put it right first.
Security
Account data is transmitted over encrypted connections and held in access-controlled storage. The credentials that can read or write it are held server-side and are never shipped inside the App. No system is perfectly secure, but the App collects very little, which is the most effective protection there is.
Children
The App is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the App handles personal data we will update this page and change the “last updated” date at the top. This policy remains available at this address, which is the privacy policy URL listed for the App on Google Play.
