What is Android Studio?

Android studio is an Ide (Integrated development environment) made by JetBrains for the development of android applications.

It provides the fastest tools for developing android applications for any type of android devices.

Hence android studio is available to be downloaded on Windows, Linux, and macOS.

In the past Eclipse is used for the development of android applications but now the android studio is best for development.

After knowing about what is the android studio we have a question in our mind of how to we will use it?

Thus to use an android studio we have to download it and install it in our system.

So, let’s get started

Operating System requirements:

Windows requirements

  • Microsoft Windows 7/8/10 (64-bit). The emulator only supports 64-bit windows only.

  • 2 GB of available disk space minimum, 6 GB recommended
  • 1280 x 800 minimum screen resolution

  • The Java Development Kit (JDK)
  • If your system has an up-to-date JDK installed, you won’t need to install it again. The JDK provides tools, such as the Java compiler, used by IDEs and SDKs for developing Java programs. The JDK also contains a Java Runtime Environment (JRE), which enables Java programs, such as Eclipse, to run on your system.
